Linkam Scientific Instruments is a high-tech company that develops and produces high-precision instrumentation for thermal and optical characterization of various materials, from polymers to biological tissue, from metals to composites.

Since 1982 Linkam Scientific Instruments has been a British manufacturer of microscope cooling and heating stages as well as unique optical DSC instruments. The roots are in the Netherlands, where R&D activities still take place. The name Linkam comes from the surnames Van der Linden and Kamp. So the Dutch no-nonsense, precision and high quality are completely in the DNA of the Linkam Scientific Instruments organization.
