Product description Linkam Peltier Stages
The Linkam Optical Peltier stages, for thermoelectrically cooled stages on microscopes.
Linkam's PE100 and PE120 Peltier stages are easy-to-use thermoelectrically cooled hardware stages. The stages are ideally suited for non-complex – fixed temperature controls for multiple applications. The PE100 & PE120 Peltier stages do not require liquid nitrogen to cool measurements and samples below ambient temperatures.
All systems are equipped with a stage (model PE100 or PE120), a T96-P LinkPad controller which is equipped with a “touch screen” to quickly and accurately program different temperatures and an ECP water circulator. The stages are compatible with Linkam's optional LINK software, adding additional features such as data logging, graphing, data export options and imaging and image analysis modules.
Features of the PE120 Peltier stage
Wide temperature range
-25°C (depending on the water temperature) to 120°C with a stability of +/- 0.1°C.
Lens-object working distance
The "open-face stage" design meets many requirements and a working distance of up to 0.1 mm.
Features of the PE100 Peltier stage
Temperature range
-10°C (depending on water temperature) to 99°C with a stability of +/- 0.1°C.
Lens-object working distance
The "open-face stage" design meets many requirements and a working distance of up to 0.1 mm.
The PE100 is designed to fit into the stage of an “inverted” microscope. Linkam's Peltier stages are used in biology labs worldwide for cell research. For example sperm motility and viability of, among other things, blood and cell preservation at low temperatures. The flat design of the stage provides full access to the sample and facilitates the use of Petri dishes, microscope slides and perforated sample plates. Manufacturer-specific versions of the PE100 series are available for Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss microscopes.
