The mIRoGun 4.0 is a mobile and wireless solution for plastic detection using NIR spectrometry and configurable databases for initial quality control. User-friendly, simplicity, speed and optimized for everyday use – these are the key points of the innovative mIRoGun 4.0. The unit can be used on the site of your recycling company, on the road on the truck or in the production hall. In addition, the unit is also easy to connect to a PC using USB and WIFI for the necessary registration of quality purposes, such as for mixed granulates.
In addition to plastics, it is also possible to analyze textiles of all types, with the exception of black (dark) and diffusive materials. Results are displayed on the color touchscreen within milliseconds. The samples may be solids, granules, fibers or foams. The mIRoGun is equipped with a Li-lon battery and an energy saving mode, which guarantees a usage time of more than 24 hours. This can be expanded even further with a power bank. The unit can be operated with only one hand and worn with a wrist strap.
Software
In addition to the mIRoGun 4.0, GUT also has other solutions in the field of plastic detection, such as the sIRoPad table set-up and mIRoSpark, which can also be used to analyze dark and transparent materials.
