The Lloyd TA1 texture analyzer offers you the same functionality as the LS series. With a maximum capacity of 1kN, the TA1 is the workhorse in its field. With the TA1, you get a powerful, highly accurate and highly specialized material testing system. A material testing system suitable for quality control within a wide range of applications and test types such as chewing experience, freshness, binding and breakage of foods. The TA1 also offers a wide range of test solutions outside the food industry for, among others, the cosmetic and packaging industry. The TA1 material testing machines from Lloyd Instruments are user-friendly universal testing machines that are ideal for material testing up to 1kN (225 lbf). The machines use high-precision, interchangeable YLC series load cells for tension, compression and zero force cycles. The test machines have an accuracy of ± 0.5% from 1% to 100% of the load cell value.
This material testing machine features an integrated control console with a multi-function keyboard and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display to display load and extension information. The control console displays prompts and menus that guide the user through machine operations.
With the interchangeable grips and the wide range of test types in the NexygenPlus software, the TA1 material testing machine is ideal for product development, production testing and quality control.
The NexygenPlus software works in tandem with Excel and Word and gives you the ability to automatically transfer your test results directly into your own company templates.
The TA1 texture analyzer comes standard with a stainless steel collection tray and sample table.
Splinter screens are available to protect the user when testing brittle samples that can fragment. These shields help prevent sample fragments from leaving the test area while performing a test. Slide shields are lowered onto the test area once the sample is mounted. Hinged shields open easily, allowing full access to the test area from the front or rear of the machine. Splinter guards are available for one or two column test machines. POGO test frames are unique to AMETEK STC. Mounting the POGO frame under the machine base makes it possible to test very large samples.
